Overland Track

Both Victor & Matt were extremely knowledgeable of the local area, the trail, the environment (plants & animals) as well as being good fun to spend time with. It was impressive that the food was fresh throughout the trip, deliciously cooked & it catered for vegetarian and gluten free diets within the group. Our bedding was warm & comfortable and we are already looking forward to returning to Tassie!

Melbourne : Nepal and India

Wednesday Apr 17, 2013 06:00 PM

World Expeditions has been pioneering adventure travel to the Himalaya for more than 30 years. Our treks offer a great opportunity to leave Nepal's tourist trails and venture into the deep forests and roam the high alpine passes. Travel to the base of the sacred, fluted peak of Machapuchare or the well publicised Everest Base Camp.

Enter the Annapurnas, beyond the tea house trails and trek through traditional Hindu villages where we are assured of a warm welcome. In Chitwan we undertake a wildlife safari in search of rhino and the Bengal tiger. The Gokyo Lakes trek is a more tranquil journey through the Sherpa heartland that affords ample time for acclimatisation with opportunities to savour the mountain panoramas.

Take a tour through India's Golden Triangle, visit the Taj Mahal and Agra or cycle, train or cruise your way between Nepal & India.
