Antarctic Explorer

Just a belated thank you to World Expeditions for the wonderful trip to the Antarctic my sister and I joined last December. From the first day, it was agreed that 1 day on a plane and 2 1/2 days on a ship was a small price to pay to have the chance to enjoy such an amazing experience. The ship was comfortable and crewed by an excellent staff; the size of the vessel was perfect to allow maximum opportunity for the four dozen or so passengers to enjoy the experience (contrasted to many of the other vessels we saw in port in Ushuaia).
Furthermore, the guides provided were professional, knowledgeable and friendly, adding to the great atmosphere of the journey. Our fellow travellers were an outgoing and welcoming bunch too, which made for a wonderful time. I wholeheartedly commend World Expeditions to anyone as a first rate provider of adventure travel - I can't wait for my next opportunity to try another experience (perhaps Kenya at a quiet moment). My sincere thanks to the team.

Australian Cancer Research Foundation & 3BL Challenge

Sydney : Australian Cancer Research Foundation & 3BL Challenge

Monday Feb 04, 2013 06:00 PM

The inaugural Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) Larapinta Leadership Challenge set off in September 2012, combining professional development, cancer fundraising and one of Australia’s most breathtaking landscapes. Goodman group registered a team of four staff and they raised $30,000 for cancer research through individual and corporate charity donations.

Join us for a very special evening to learn about the upcoming ACRF/3BL Leadership Development Challenges in 2013 including:

June 2013 – Kakadu, Northern Territory

October 2013 – Cradle Mountain and the Walls of Jerusalem

The Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) is committed to discovering the treatments and cures for cancer by funding world-class research in Australia. Every dollar of every donation received by the ACRF (100%) goes to the fight against this terrible disease, no donation dollars are used to fund our administrative or operational costs. Since its inception, the ACRF has funded $79 million in grants for world-class research, almost 70% of which has been awarded in just the last six years. These funds provide cutting-edge technology and facilities which speed up the discovery process— working to save lives by saving time.
